Upper Lim – northeast of Montenegro
23 kilometres from spring of Lim, Plav lake to the town Andrijevica. There are lot of rapids, class III-IV. In spring is good for rafts, in summer for canoe/kayak.
5 kilometres downstream the town Berane is located Tifran canyon with two rapids IV-IV+.
Middle Lim – southwest of Serbia (25 kilometres from border of Montenegro and Serbia to Prijepolje. Nice canyon, few rapids class III-IV, passable for rafts during all year.
Lower Lim – southwest of Serbia, east of Bosnia and Herzegovina (30 km from Priboj to mouth into Drina river). In last section, nice rapids class IV.
Regatta of the river Lim (Limska regata) is traditional 3-day and 130 km long rafting regatta organized by municipalities and tourist organizations of towns – Plav, Andrijevica, Berane, Bijelo Polje and Prijepolje. Limska Regata is usually held in the end of may or start of the june.
How to get there: Best with own transport, but it is also possible to use public transport.
